After feedback from the instructor and the students, it was clear for me what changes I needed to make, changes such as font sizes, layout and colors. The pretty happy with the final result for my poster considering it was done with a software I wasn’t familiar with.

I have created the main layout and included all the needed elements in my poster, during class we had feedback and comments which were very helpful. so went back to drawing board and edited my designs and did some improvements

The Sketches phase was a bit tough in the beginning as I’m not used to sketch before I start working on my designs. But as soon as I passed the 5th sketch, new ideas and concepts started to evolve. Which was great. I find that sketching in general will be useful for me to find new ideas before I commit to one idea that usually popups into my head. Will try to get myself used to sketching

Described as one of the most familiar and successful typefaces in the world – and has been used for just about every typographic application imaginable.
Random yet beautiful poster, with a clear focal point created by a bold shape of the letter O.
The combination between the illustration created by type, and large letters and the font information
creates an awesome poster. The designer also did a good job with the poster colors
I love the background colors and the 3d effect created by playing
with shadows and color shades in the poster.

Roboto
Roboto is a neo-grotesque sans-serif typeface family developed by Google as the system font for its mobile operating system Android, and released in 2011
The entire font family has been licensed under the Apache license. In 2014, Roboto was redesigned for Android 5.0 “Lollipop”.
San Francisco
The San Francisco typeface has three main variants: SF for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS; SF Compact for watchOS; and SF Mono for the Terminal, Console, and Xcode applications. Several other variants exist for internal use by Apple.
Helvetica Neue
Helvetica Neue is a reworking of the typeface with a more structurally unified set of heights and widths. Other changes include improved legibility, heavier punctuation marks, and increased spacing in the numbers.

Times New Roman
is a serif typeface designed for use in body text. It was commissioned by the British newspaper The Times in 1931 and conceived by Stanley Morison, the artistic advisor to the British branch of the printing equipment company Monotype, in collaboration with Victor Lardent, a lettering artist in the Times’ advertising department. Although no longer used by The Times, Times New Roman is still very common in book and general printing. It has become one of the most popular and influential typefaces in history and a standard typeface on desktop computers.
Lora Cyrillic
Lora is a well-balanced contemporary serif with roots in calligraphy. It is a text typeface with moderate contrast well suited for body text.
A paragraph set in Lora will make a memorable appearance because of its brushed curves in contrast with driving serifs. The overall typographic voice of Lora perfectly conveys the mood of a modern-day story, or an art essay.
Technically Lora is optimised for screen appearance, and works equally well in print. Designed by Olga Karpushina in 2011.
Abraham Lincoln
Inspired by the proportions of the 16th President of the USA, and advertisements/playbills of the 1800s, Abraham Lincoln is a humanistic display face with moderate contrast and sturdy serifs.
